I finally learned CAD, and have been thinking a about portable speakers and what they might become. John McAfee (yes that one) has been talking bout creating a WiFi repeating device that can generate its own mini internet between devices ( a LAN). This would be great for storing and sharing data, but also listening to and controlling music as a group. This should also be able to boost wifi, have an aux out, and charge your phone.
On another note: Every single smartphone user is walking around with a WiFi repeater in their pocket. Imagine the possibilities for mini networks to be createdn through software. As speeds increase, you could essentially get around using an ISP. Done with SolidWorks and Photoshop.
